JAMES S. GLADNEY
Mr. Gladney is the Founder of Liberty Wealth Advisors®.
Mr. Gladney has been an advocate of index investing for over two decades and has developed our firm’s core investment philosophy. He believes that every client has a unique set of circumstances, needs and objectives that require highly personalized and specialized advice and that these cannot be achieved within a “one size fits all” approach to client service.
Mr. Gladney is a practitioner of the Servant Leadership management philosophy and has created a corporate culture that embodies this approach in all of his businesses. Servant leadership requires that we place the needs of our clients and our team before our own individual needs and that we exhibit leadership by serving others. This culture of service to others fits perfectly within our role as fiduciaries to our clients.
Prior to founding Liberty Wealth Advisors®, Mr. Gladney spent over 30 years investing in and building a broad array of companies domestically and internationally in several industries including wealth management, hospitality, business services, distribution, real estate & construction, enterprise software, manufacturing and media. Mr. Gladney has served for over 15 years as the Managing Partner of several investment firms as well as over 15 years as the CEO of multiple operating companies. He has also served on the Boards of Directors of over 20 companies, including Chairman roles for several of these as well as serving on Audit Committees, Compensation Committees, and Executive Committees. He is a member of the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD).
